CFC V6.0 incl. SP2 is a 32-bit application that requires MS Windows 95, MS Windows 98, MS Windows ME, MS Windows NT, MS Windows 2000, or MS Windows XP as the operating system. It cannot run under Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11.
We recommend that you also install the Microsoft service pack 1 (Windows 95, version 4.00.950a). You require service pack 5 for Windows NT 4.0 (NT version 4.00.1381). You can find information about these software packages on the Microsoft web site on the Internet.
CFC is an optional software package. To be able to work with CFC, you require the following additional software packages on your programming device or PC:
Basic software STEP 7 V5.1 SP6 or higher
If using CFC for S7:
Programming language S7-SCL V5.0 SP3 or higher or S7-SCL V5.1 SP3 or higher for MS Windows ME, MS Windows 2000, or MS Windows XP
If using CFC for M7:
M7-SYS V2.1, M7-SYS-RT V4.0 or M7-SYS-RT V5.0
Borland C compiler V5.01 (can be supplied by Siemens; Order Number: 6ES7812-1BC01-0AA0)
MS Windows XP is not supported by M7-SYS, and another operating system must be selected.
