The template library is an optional enhancement of the standard libraries that are supplied with the EPAS-4 Automation Toolkit. The library provides a framework. It contains recurring functionalities required for machine programming in the consumer goods industry.
The template library is divided into three libraries:
PD_Template_V0020xx.lib: Function blocks of the PacDrive template
PD_TPC_V0020xx.lib: Constants of the PacDrive template
PD_TPD_V0020xx.lib: Data types of the PacDrive template
The following areas are taken into account in the template library and facilitate project definition:
For addressing individual axes, the template library contains the "AxisModule" equipment module. Master/slave dependencies are taken into account as usual.
The template includes program organization units (programs, functions and function blocks), data types, visualizations, etc. of the standard logic and motion functions for machines in the consumer goods industry.
To complete your own project using a template, you need the template library. A demo project always accompanies the template as a simple introduction. It can run immediately and is suitable as a basis for your own projects. In the template, you will need the basic functions of the PacDrive? system that are made available by the system library or the PacDriveLib library.
