The Proficy Driver Server will work as a third party OPC server for Proficy Machine Edition and iFIX.
Caution: Proficy Driver Server may not work when Proficy Machine Edition is uninstalled and reinstalled again, following the installation of Proficy Driver Server.
Proficy Driver Server: Performance Limits
The Proficy Driver Server includes the following limitations:
One Proficy Driver Configuration only is allowed on a single computer.
Maximum 500 devices for all platforms.
Maximum 64 simultaneous projects.
Maximum 8 protocols per project.
Maximum 10 access paths per device.
Maximum of 32 connections through a TCP/IP port.
