Web HMI visualization consists of a seriesof animated process diagrams called mimics that simulate the equipment pieces and their properties in aproduction environment. The Web HMI navigation hierarchy provides real-time summary views thatoperators can drill down to see details about individual assets, enabling quick and effective analysis of issues. New in the Release Web HMI provides several new features andimprovements in this release. In addition to being able to changereal-time HMI/SCADA values on Control Views, you can directly edit these values on Mimic Cards. You can define a click target to navigateto any asset in the model instead of just the descendants of an asset. Asset objects reuse the mimics that youbind to their asset object types. When defining an asset object, you can override a bound mimic with adifferent mimic to display at Runtime. This does not change the original association of the mimic to theasset object type in the model. When an asset uses similar data variablesand contained objects as a configured asset, you can duplicate the configured asset to quickly create newassets objects for your model. For CIMPLICITY, Web HMI provides arraysupport for monitoring purposes. For example, you can import CIMPLICITY screens that display arraystates, such as Active, in Web HMI for viewing. You cannot control or trend data shown on these arrays. You can select which attributes of a datavariable an operator can see and modify on the Control Views of Mimic Cards. The Web HMI UI banner now displays thenumber of alarms per severity level for all assets in the model, providing more space for the Alarm Card toshow information for the selected asset. Software Requirements Your software must meet the followingminimum requirements to operate Web HMI. Note: Web HMI only supports the Englishversion of the operating systems. For Internet Explorer 11: For the Web HMI home page to properlyappear, clear the Display Intranet Sites in Compatibility View and the Use Microsoft Compatibility Listscheck boxes (Tools > Compatibility View settings). If nothing is appearing in Web HMI, go toEmulation in the IE Developer Tools and change the Document mode to Edge. For regional date and time formats towork in Web HMI, set the language and date and time formats in Clock, Language, and Region > Region andLanguage > Formats of the Control Panel, and then restart all Internet Explorer browser instances.
