If you have problems opening the Siemens S7 PLC project, because the language settings of the project
please do the following:
Go to the C:\ProgramFiles\Siemens\Step7\S7Proj folder (this is the default destination, if you keep
your project somewhere else please navigate there) and open the Global folder which contains a
language file with your regional settings. Please open this file with a notepad and copy the content.
Then go to my project that was you received, open the language file in it and overwrite it's content.
After this you should be able to open the project.
